Doubt whether anyone predicted the blistering start to the year which included the savage nose-blooding given to Spurs and Arsenal... similarly there are millions of United fans trying to find drugs that will induce collective amnesia about the Derby day that will 'live in infamy' (Roosevelt about Pearl Harbour).
Since then MUFC have been rather unexceptional... team changes - voluntary and enforced - have not helped United mesh together to destroy teams and there always seems to be a bit of a mis-fire. Hernandez back and on-form will help...
